| Double blind crossover studies clearly demonstrates the immediate improvement in EAV acupuncture feedback concluding that the IonRay Eyewear will in fact reduce psychological stress, relieve eyestrain, improve mental focus and improve visual clarity. Sixteenth century Chinese doctors belived that illness was due to an imbalance of energy in the body. In acupuncture, one of the body’s fourteen (14) major meridians, or energy-carrying channels, are stimulated to overcome illnesses and conditions which correct imbalances in the energy channels.
Acupunture is also thought to decrease pain by increasing the release of chemials called endorphine, which block pain. Many acu-points are near nerves. When stimulated, these nerves cause a dull ache or feeling of fullness in the muscle. The stimulated muscle sends a message to the central nervous system (the brain and spinal chemicals that modify nerve impulses) the message of pain is blocked and not transmitter to the brain.
Neurons are bio-electric signals which are responsible for communication throughout the nervous system. This nerve transmission consumes one-half of all the brain’s energy (nearly 10% of the whole body’s energy. When IonRay is worn approximately 1 thumb’s width below the hypothalmus-pituitary-adrenal axis (HPAA). The HPAA is central to our entire endocrine system. The hypothalamus is the central regulator responsible for the shifting of homeostasis. The HPAA is the conduit for our emotions and psychological stress is primarily mediated through the axis. It has, like the whole neuroendocrine system, far-reaching interactionwith the other hormonal systems as well as the rest of the autoregulations systems.
IonRay stimulates the posterior hypothalamus by invoking resynchronization of the neocortical electrical activity. The eyewear also modifies the signaling to assist in brain synchronization similar to sound therapy. Specific frequencies can create a rhythm which assists the right and left hemispheres of the brain. In doing so, the brain "adapts" to the new complex mental stimulation, resulting in an increase in brain activity. We know that brain waves induced by "sound" therapy can produce a 15-50% increase in the production of several beneficial neurochemicals such as acetylcholine, serotonin, beta-endorphins and vasopressin which increases mental focus, lowers stress, prevents eye strain, and boosts sharper vision. "The Human Brain"
The human brain is the most complex form yet discovered in nature. And in age when science has unraveled many of the big questions, the brain is only now starting to give up it secrets. But no matter how wondrous or complex, the bottom-line is that the human brain is a mass of electrical energy. Biochemical electric energy, to be exact. And it’s subtle. But it’s the basis for every thought, every sensation, every memory, every experience you’ve ever had. From a material perspective, the brain looks like a mass of cauliflower encased in the skull. Apply a different lens, however, and this picture changes. Observed through an infrared heat sensing instrument, we see the brain is the hottest part of the body. And we know from the study of physics that heat is the calling card of energy. The brain is an energy cloud.
The brain functions through the interaction of cells called neurons. There about as many neurons in you brain as there are stars in the Milky Way galaxy. These neurons function by connecting and "singing" with one another. This "singing" between neurons forms the very basis of our whole reality. But if you’ve ever been to a choir concert with a very bad conductor, you might wonder how your brain makes sense of all this conflicting song. The simple answer is rhythm. As in dancing when the rhythm tells when to move and stop moving, the thalamo-cortical rhythm of the brain tells the neurons when to sing and stop singing. In this way the brain is able to turn billions of tiny, separate events into one singular large event – our conscious experience. This rhythm is a waveform. And guess what: it’s electric.
When you hear someone mention brain waves they are talking about the visual representations of the brain’s internal rhythm. There are basically four types of brain wave: alpha, theta, delta, and beta. And, if you notice the graphic below, you’ll also see that they’re all basically non-sinusoidal.
So why are artificially produced non-sinusoidal waves so bad?
A non-sinusoidal wave is basically a complex collection of many much simpler sinusoidal wave forms. Simple sinusoidal EM wave forms (such as those produced in the environment by nature) are easily absorbed into the existing electrical song of the brain. Artificially produced non-sinusoidal waves are not. Think of it this way: let’s say you’re riding in your car and listening to you favorite song on the radio. At some point, your turn appears and you flip on your turn signal. Does the turn signal destroy the song? Probably not. The simple turn-signal is easily absorbed by the more complex rhythm of music. But now let’s say you’re listening to your favorite song on the radio and some obtuse passenger starts listening to talk radio on a battery-powered boom box. Chances are, that will destroy your song – and perhaps your friendship, too.
A great deal of research has been done studying the effect of artificial energy sources on the human anatomy. To date, it is largely inconclusive. For example, research indicates that you can be reasonably sure that high-voltage power-lines don’t cause cancer. Many studies have been done, and there is no statistical correlation to be found. (High voltage lines, by the way, produce sinusoidal waves.) On the other hand, we know that the energy output of a mobile phone is enough to alter certain alpha and theta brain-wave bands in an EEG. So while the EM link to cancer and other diseases is unclear, the link between non-sinusoidal waveform EM and brain function can be seen clearly.
"Matter and Energy"
At some level, matter and energy are the same. Quantum physics reveals
that matter itself is simply an interaction of energy. Protons and neutrons
bound at the orbital center of swirling electrons by the strong nuclear force
are called "matter." Blast this "matter" with high speed hydrogen isotopes
and you change this interaction. The "matter" changes form, becomes luminous, becomes energy. The point is: it always was
energy. And energy is always matter insomuch that all physical forces can be modeled either as waves (their energetic identity)
or as particles (their material identity.) The point is that our whole universe and our entire human experience can be described by
this interaction between matter and energy – which are really one in the same. Different material properties will affect energy fields
All of this becomes relevant when we talk about using eyewear frames to amplify brain function. People ask "well how can this little strip of bio-stainless effect the energy field of my brain?" How can the antenna on your car provide the signal for your stereo? How can the cellular phone in your hand connect you instantly to people the world round? The answer: matter interacting with energy. The universe is full of invisible interactions.

What we know:
Using our proprietary treatment process, the physical structure of our eyewear interacts constructively with the natural waveforms (rhythms) produced by the brain. In clinical studies, our eyewear has been shown to reduce stress, improve mental focus, and sharpen visual acuity at the neurological level.
What we don’t know:
As with many modern pharmaceutical medicines, the precise mechanism of action is not known. The current theory is that the treated physical medium of the frame acts as an amplifier for the brain’s natural waveforms. This, in turn, acts as a buffer against destructive incoming non-sinusoidal EM waveforms, while simultaneously invoking a resynchronization of the neocortical electrical activity within the Hypothalamus (which regulates the endocrine system) and/or across the Corpus Callosum (which provides the bridge of communication between both hemispheres of the mind.) This would, in effect, make the brain more resilient against many forms of EM pollution by both polarizing the field itself, as well as prompting the release of chemicals such as Serotonin (a key ingredient in regulating mood), Beta-Endorphins (natural pain killers), Acetylcholine (a neurotransmitter associated with intelligence and memory), and Vasopressin (an aid in forming memories).
Seratonin - Studies show that there is a chemical hierarchy in humans associated with social "rank" that is linked with sertonin levels. Those in high office, higher positions on sports teams and those of higher rank in academic clubs have been found to have higher levels of serotonin than their lower ranking peers. Low levels of serotonin are associated with depression, violent behavior, and suicide.
Beta-Endorphins - These are the body’s natural pain killers. Normal levels of beta-endorphins enhance our overall sense of well-being. High levels are associated with feelings of immense joy and euphoria. People with normal to high levels of beta-endorphins are less likely to drink alcohol while those with low levels are at a much higher risk of becoming alcoholics.
Acetylocholine - Stdies show that increasing acetylocholine level improve performance in a variety of memory and intelligence tests and increase alertness. Low level of neurotransmitter are associated with Alzhemier's disease.
Vasopressin - Normal levels of vasopressin aid, in part, to the formation of memories. It was approved by the FDA to regulate the bladder.
